BYLAW 9320
BYLAWS OF THE BOARD
MEETINGS
Members of the Board of Education act officially only at regular or special meetings of
the Board at which a quorum (four members) shall be present. Board members have no
authority except at Board meetings or when discharging an assignment made by the
Board.
Board decisions are not made outside of Board meetings. Board meetings are held for
the purpose of deliberation and group decisions. Outside the Board meeting, a member
is a private citizen who cannot properly make any official statement for the Board or
make any promise or commitment with respect to his/her own decision in the Board
meeting.
