Dear Mrs, Butson,
Please accept my resignation from my current position as a fifth-grade classroom teacher at Jack
Jackter Intermediate school effective February 4, 2020.
After much deliberation, | feel like this decision is in my best interest at the current time as | will
be afforded the opportunity to pursue passions of mine outside of the classroom by being
closer to where | reside. | appreciate the opportunity afforded to me at the beginning of the
school year to be employed as a teacher in Colchester. It has been a great experience with great
support by colleagues and administration alike.
| have been fortunate enough to initiate my teaching career in the guidance of Colchester Public
Schools and if there is anything that I can assist with, with regards to the transition process for
my students, between now and my end date, | am more than willing to do so.
