Dear Colchester Board of Education,
After thoughtful consideration, | plan to retire at the end of this school year, 2020-2021.
Ironically, my twentieth year in Colchester will seem much like my first year. There are many
unknowns, but | expect that just as the first year here, the spirit of the staff at William J.
Johnston School and the Colchester School District will remain supportive in a way that is truly
unique and caring.
| will remain grateful that | was hired by the Colchester School District and for the opportunity to
work 20 years with such a supportive and dedicated staff, as WJ. Please let me know if there is
anything else that you will need from me in order to qualify for the retirement benefit.
