MINUTES
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Mary Tomasi, Vice Chair Chris McGlynn, Amy Domeika,
Jessica Morozowich, Joanne Rose, Suesen Hickey
ADMINISTRATION PRESENT: Superintendent Jeffrey Burt
1. MEETING OPENING
Chair Tomasi called the meeting to order at 5:00PM.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
3. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
3.1 BOE Goals Development
Superintendent Burt presented an update of the Board of Education goals for discussion.
The BOE reviewed new goals language from the writing committee. The Superintendent
shared that the goals of the BOE are in alignment with the goals of the District. He
further recommended that the BOE consider how to measure implementation of these
goals. Discussion ensued regarding best practices for building effective communications
with the general public and cultivating connections with community partners. The BOE
goals will be forwarded to the entire BOE on March 9, 2021.
