1. MEETING OPENING
   Chair Tomasi called the meeting to order at 6:00PM.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT
   None.

3. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
    3.1 BOE Budget Workshop
        Superintendent Burt presented budget questions submitted to the BOE; Colchester Public
        Schools administrators were present to help answer questions. All questions and answers
        are posted on the CPS website under the Education Budget page. Superintendent Burt
        shared his budget presentation from March 9, 2021; discussion ensued on details of the
        proposed 2021-2022 budget. Also presented was a capital improvement plan;
        Superintendent Burt shared a proposed expenditure budget for necessary maintenance.
        The details of the ESSER II grant, which are funds issued to provide COVID-19 related
        relief to schools, are unclear at this time. Guidance from the State on the use of these
        funds is expected in the next week. On March 23, 2021 there will be a second Budget
        Workshop, where a narrative will be presented along with details of the ESSER II grant.
        Any questions for the Superintendent on the education budget can be directed to
        budget@colchesterct.org.
