Dear Mr. Burt:

On behalf of the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE), I am pleased to inform you
that Colchester Public School District has been approved to receive the Carl D. Perkins Career
and Technical Education Secondary Supplemental Enhancement Grant.

Grant selections were made by internal evaluation using scoring rubric aligned to the Request
for Proposals. The CSDE will be monitoring your progress and program implementation
throughout the grant period. Please note that the grant awarded has a grant usage period of
April 1, 2021 – August 31, 2021. These funds must be encumbered by August 31, 2021, and
fully liquidated by September 30, 2021.
