This letter is to inform you of my intent to retire as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the
Town/BOE of Colchester. In accordance with my contract, I am providing six (6)
months notice of my retirement, with my last day being Friday, June 10, 2022.

During what will be seventeen years employed as CFO in Colchester, I have had the
opportunity to work with many individuals throughout the Town and BOE. This has
included working for several First Selectman and Superintendents. In particular, I have
had the privilege to work with a great group of hardworking, dedicated people within the
Finance department. By working together as a team, we have made numerous
improvements to the financial operations of the Town and BOE, achieving both
operational efficiencies and cost savings.
I will be happy to assist with making the transition following my retirement as smooth as
possible. I will also be able to assist as a consultant during my retirement, on an as
needed and mutually agreeable basis.
Thank you to everyone I have had an opportunity to work with for the experience and
knowledge that I was able to add to my career accomplishments.
