Members Present: M. Tomasi, R. Besaw, A. Domeika, B. Bernier, ex officio

Administration Present: J. Burt, Superintendent, Dr. Hewes, Director of Teaching and
Learning

1. Call to Order
   M. Tomasi called the meeting to order at 5:31 PM.
2. Citizen Comments
   None.

3. Additions to the Agenda by the Board of Education
   Mary Tomasi volunteered to be the Chair of Curriculum Committee A. Move agenda
   item 6.3 to 6.1.

4. Citizens Comments on Additions to the Agenda
   None.

5. Communications/Correspondence
   None.

6. New Business
   6.1 Social Studies Curriculum
      Dr. Hewes provided an overview of the proposed Social Studies curriculum.
      Committee members engaged in a discussion and asked questions regarding the
      scope and sequence, content, and implementation of the curriculum.
      Motion: R. Besaw
      To move the Social Studies curriculum to the full Board for adoption.
      Second: A. Domeika
      Vote: Unanimous in favor.

   6.2 Program Evaluation for World Language
       Dr. Hewes provided a summary of the World Language program evaluation.

       Dr. Hewes provided a summary of the Information Literacy/Technology Skills
       program evaluation.

   Motion: R. Besaw
   To adjourn the meeting.

   Vote: Unanimous in favor.
