Dear Judy and Meghan,
I appreciate all of the trust that you have had in me during my short time at
Colchester Elementary School. I’ve really enjoyed my time working with you and
with all of the amazing teachers here at CES. However, I am sorry to ask you to
accept this letter as formal notice of resignation from my first grade teaching
position at CES due to the ever-increasing needs of my elderly mother.
I hope to work no longer than up to Thanksgiving break. I am hopeful that a
wonderful replacement will be found before then so I can help make the transition
as smooth as possible.
