Dear Dr. McDowell,
I would like to notify you of my intention to retire at the end of this 2022-2023
school year.
It has been my professional and personal privilege to have worked with the
exemplary administration, regular education staff, support staff, parents and
students across three of the District’s schools since accepting the position of
Speech and Language Pathologist in January of 2006.
The consistent, supportive, professional collaboration with colleagues and
administrators within Colchester Public School District has enabled me to pursue
professional opportunities at both the state and national level during my tenure. I
believe that all of these experiences have enriched my professional practice and
have led to positive outcomes for our students. My appreciation extends to all who
have directly and indirectly enabled me to create such a rewarding career.
I request that I be provided any necessary forms or protocols which are required to
formalize my retirement decision.
