BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Alexander Oliphant, Vice-Chair Mary Tomasi,
Secretary Margo Gignac, Donna Antonacci, Rosemary Gignac, Michelle Millington,
Christopher Rivers

1. MEETING OPENING AF
   1.1    Call to Order
   Chair Oliphant called the Special Meeting - Board Retreat to order at 4:53 PM.

   1.2     Roll Call

2. PRIORITY DISCUSSION
   2.1     Roles and Responsibilities of Board of Education and Superintendent
   Discussion was had on the roles and responsibilities of Board members and the
   Superintendent. There was discussion in regard to returning to an individual committee
   structure. The Board discussed having the following members on the Board’s standing

   committees:

   Budget Finance Committee:  Christopher Rivers, Mary Tomasi, Michelle Millington
   Policy Committee:          Donna Antonacci, Mary Tomasi
   *Curriculum Committee:     Michelle Millington, Donna Antonacci, Rosemary
                              Gignac

   *Facilities Committee:     Margo Gignac, Christopher Rivers
   *Communications Committee: Michelle Millington, Donna Antonacci, Margo Gignac

   *A Curriculum Committee, Facilities Committee, and Communications Committee to be
   discussed at the next Board meeting.

   2.2    District Priorities and the Transition Process
   Discussion was had on Board goals, district priorities and the transition process. There
   was also discussion on the budget process, class sizes, and curriculum.
