                   NUMBER OF MEMBERS, TERMS OF OFFICE, OATH OF OFFICE


The Board of Education shall consist of seven members. Each term of office shall be for four years.

Members shall take office on the second Monday following the date of the election. Before entering upon
their official duties, members of the Board of Education shall take an oath of office before the town clerk
or his/her designee.

                                          OATH OF OFFICE

Members of the Board of Education shall, before entering upon their official duties, take the oath of
     office provided in Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-25 and assume office in accordance
     with the Town Charter.
