Purpose

Vision: Create opportunities to build understanding and
partnership with the community while increasing
transparency.


District Goal: Showcase schools and programs to
encourage involvement and foster community pride.
Completed Work
●   Identiﬁed community members to inform the conversation and create action steps
●   Quarterly newsletters from each school to ensure we are increasing communication
    from a district lens
●   All four schools have created boards to be utilized on the town green to share district
    news and school events
●   Identiﬁed current community partnerships (e.g. Project Graduation, Cragin Memorial
    Library, Youth First Coalition, Senior Center etc.)
●   Increased community facing visuals

●   Highlight special education programming:
    ○ East of the River Transition Academy
    ○ Visit from the state department of education to highlight our
        program
