1 am sorry that my performance did not meet the expectations of you and the teachers | worked with. Noone ever shared their
concerns with me prior to our meeting on Friday. Perhaps if they had this unfortunate ending could have been averted.

I sent the following email to Aliyah’s and Jade. | know being new it would be hard to work sounds this or maybe become a sub. Unfortunately elderly
services is making it mandatory someone is with my mother in law 24 hours a day. We're in the process of interviewing care givers.

Hi Alisha and Jade,

After a really hard decision | think it would best for me to give
my notice. | feel with the days | missed | didn’t think it’s fair to
the team or the students. In such a short time | really grew
attached to the students and staff. | have to the say the staff was
very welcoming and it meant a lot to me.I’ sorry this is coming
out of the blue. My wife and | were unprepared for my mother-
in-law b ring this sick. | will really miss the students and staff.
They are an incredible bunch staff. The next few weeks it’s going
to be unknown with my mother-in-law, my wife and | have to
plan accordingly to be with her at least 24 hours a days Until we
find suitable accommodation. Right now we're in the process of
interviewing home health aides.

situation..

Dear Judy & Meghan:

It is with mixed emotions | write fo you to inform you that | will be resigning as a Child
Development Associate for CES, effective March 28th 2024. This decision did not come easy
but | have had an opportunity fo expand my knowledge and skills in a position more directed

towards my Psychology degree.

| want to sincerely thank you, and everyone here at CES that believed in me and gave me
the opportunity to have a larger role in the classroom. | have learned and grown so much as
an individual and professionally. My love for Colchester Elementary School and the
community stays with me and | can't help but believe something will bring me back here one
day. The relationships | have made in my three years at CES, | will treasure and hold onto. |

hope to stay in touch with my collogues and continue to be supportive of each other.

| will do my best to help my collogues any way | cain in this transitional period. Please feel to
reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. | am open and willing to discuss my

decision.
