Dear Mr. Sullivan,
As you may be aware, our family sponsors the Valedictorian Prize
each year. It is a Prize of $2500, awarded to the Valedictorian of the
graduating class at Bacon. The Prize was established over 30 years ago
in memory of my sister, Susan, who was the Valedictorian of the Class
of 1958. The Schwartz family has been in Colchester for over 100
years, and many of us are proud Bacon graduates. Notably, my father
Hyman, Class of 1931 and my mother, Edna, Class of 1930. Through
our Company and individually, we have always tried to support Bacon
in as many ways as possible. And by the way, we are fortunate to have
many Bacon alumni as long-term associates in our Company.
