ADMINISTRATION PRESENT : Superintendent Daniel P. Sullivan, Ill, Assistant Superintendent

Chair Oliphant called the meeting to order at 5:04 PM

2. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS
2.1. *Discussion and Possible Action on HVAC Project at BA
Superintendent Sullivan explained that because of changes in EPA regulations, the project
restarted and two bids for design work were received from Russell & Dawson and HFLenz.
M. Gignac arrived at 5:09 PM
A. Barillari stated that Russell & Dawson’s bid was $176,650 and HFLenz was $120,000. He
stated that he did reference checks for both companies and ultimately, his recommendation is to
hire HFLenz for the design work, which includes drawings, schematics, oversight, construction
administration, etc. They will also guide us to which design system is best to cover as much of
BA as possible. Whether that is possible, it is still unknown, we have to wait for the designs.
The Board asked about timelines. A Barillari stated that he expects after the New Year for the
designs to be in. He stated that we had asked for 4 different designs : the existing design, a
VRF design, a Chiller design and a Hybrid VRF. and-Chiller design.

The Board asked about grant funding. Superiritendent Sullivan stated that there is an expiration
of December 31, 2025 but we have the ability to request an extension.
